Terms of use
Last updated: August 8, 2026
wimsstudio.com is operated by WIMS Studio / Woodman. These terms cover our website and the supply of WIMS Studio / Woodman software and documentation. By ordering, downloading, or using our software, you agree to these terms.
1. Terms used
“Software” means our apps and plugins (including App Store builds and macOS installers). “Documentation” means manuals, help PDFs, and related materials. “Licensee” / “you” means the person or entity acquiring or using the Software.
2. License
WIMS Studio retains all right, title, and interest in the Software and Documentation, including copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for your own personal or internal business purposes, subject to these terms and any App Store rules that apply to your purchase.
You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, rent, or sublicense the Software except where applicable law expressly allows it. Coupon-issued license keys are personal and may not be shared or resold.
3. Price and payment
Prices are shown in the Apple App Store (or other authorized channels) at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by Apple or the relevant store — not directly by this website — unless a specific promotion states otherwise. Taxes may apply as determined by the store.
4. Term of the license
The license continues until terminated. Paid licenses remain valid for the purchased product version(s) described at the time of sale, subject to these terms. Free updates may be offered at our discretion.
5. Termination
Your license ends automatically if you breach these terms. On termination you must stop using the Software and destroy copies in your possession, except where the law requires otherwise.
6. Assignment restrictions
You may not assign or transfer the license without our prior written consent, except as allowed by the App Store’s standard transfer rules for that purchase.
7. Limited warranty
The Software is provided with reasonable care, but except where required by law it is supplied “as is.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation on every device or host application. Statutory consumer rights in your country are not affected.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WIMS Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from use of the website or Software. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Software is limited to the amount you paid for that Software in the twelve months before the claim (or the minimum required by law if higher).
